Russia, Türkiye discuss agricultural issues

Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Vershinin and Turkish Ambassador to Moscow Tanju Bilgic have held a meeting dedicated to the food security at the global level.

The sides discussed the unhindered transportation of agricultural products and fertilisers to the world markets, Gazeta.Ru reports citing the message on the website of the Russian Foreign Ministry.

Moreover, Vershinin and Bilgic exchanged views on the current situation in the Palestinian-Israeli conflict zone.

The sides noted that this issue must be discussed in the UN Security Council and in the UN General Assembly. Both sides agreed on the need for an urgent and widespread ceasefire and humanitarian efforts.
