Türkiye exports kamikaze drone ALPAGU for first time VIDEO
Turkish defense company STM has signed a contract for the first export of the nation's ALPAGU system of loitering munitions, also called kamikaze drones.
The first deliveries of ALPAGU kamikaze drones were dispatched to the user country, having successfully passed all field tests. Thus, a new one was added to the national technologies, which achieved export success without entering the arsenal of the Turkish Armed Forces, Caliber.Az reports, citing the X account of SavunmaSanayiST.com.

STM CEO Ozgur Guleruz stated that STM is a pioneer in the production of tactical mini-UAVs in the world and in Türkiye.
“Our family of tactical mini-UAVs, which we first created in Türkiye with the help of our domestic engineering forces for the needs of our country, are achieving new successes every day. Following our KARGU fixed-wing attack UAV, which we exported to more than 10 countries on three different continents, we also made the first export of our ALPAGU fixed-wing attack UAV.
There is great interest in ALPAGU from various countries, as well as in our kamikaze drone KARGU, and in our reconnaissance UAV spotter TOGAN. We are currently negotiating with many countries about new ALPAGU exports,” Guleruz said.
Noting that negotiations on the contract for the entry of ALPAGU into the Turkish Armed Forces are ongoing, Guleruz said: “At the end of the negotiations, we will supply a large number of ALPAGU kamikaze drones to our army.”
