Türkiye launches new phase of Eren Abluka counter-terrorism operation

The twentieth phase of the winter and autumn anti-terrorist operation, code-named Eren Abluka-20, has kicked off in Türkiye's Batman Province in the southeast.

According to Yenisafak, the new phase of the operation involves 650 members of the law enforcement forces, including special forces from the gendarmerie and special forces, divided into 44 groups.

Areas such as Sasson and Gömük are being searched.
