Türkiye neutralises over 250 terrorists in Iraq, Syria in a week VIDEO
The Turkish Defence Ministry spokesman Zeki Akturk has said that Türkiye’s Armed Forces neutralised 1,640 terrorists in the region since the beginning of 2023.
"In the last week alone, the Turkish military neutralised 252 terrorists, including in Iraq and northern Syria. This brings the total number of terrorists eliminated since the beginning of this year to 1,640 and the total number of terrorists eliminated since 24 July 2015 to 38,983," Caliber.Az quotes Akturk as saying.

He said air operations were also carried out on 1, 3 and 4 October against terrorist targets in northern Iraq, and on 5, 6 and 8 October, strikes were carried out using ground support firepower against terrorists in northern Syria.
"A total of 194 sites were destroyed, including caves, bunkers, shelters and warehouses used by a separatist terrorist organisation. In the course of comprehensive strikes, the terrorist organisation was seriously damaged: according to preliminary data, 229 terrorists were neutralised. The assessment of the defeat of the targets is ongoing," the press service head said.
