According to an announcement from the Turkish Ministry of National Defence on social media platform X, four terrorists were neutralized in the Gara region of Iraq, while two others were eliminated in the area designated for Operation Euphrates Shield in Syria, Caliber.Az reports.

These targeted actions underscore Türkiye's ongoing commitment to combat terrorism and ensure regional security. The operations reflect a strategic approach aimed at disrupting terrorist activities and maintaining stability in the affected areas.
Turkish authorities use the term “neutralize” to imply that the terrorists in question surrendered or were killed or captured.
In its 40-year terror campaign against Türkiye, the PKK - listed as a terror organization by Türkiye, the US and the EU - has been responsible for the deaths of more than 40,000 victims, including women, and children.
