Türkiye slams EU Human Rights Court for inaction over Greece’s anti-democratic steps

Turkish Minister of National Defence Hulusi Akar has accused the European Court of Human Rights of inaction in dealing with the pressure put on the Turks living in Greece.

He made the remarks in Ankara at the 13th Ambassadors' Conference on the topic "Wise and compassionate Turkish diplomacy on the eve of 2023 and beyond", Report informs.

“Greece is in an arms race. We want the Aegean to be a sea of friendship. However, Greece continues its anti-democratic steps. There is pressure on the Turks living there, and the European Court of Human Rights does not respond to this,” Akar noted.
