The maximum take-off weight is 1,450 kg with a payload of 280 kg, which is 750 kg and 130 kg more, respectively. Another engine was also used instead of the 100-horsepower Rotax 912 - PD170 by the Turkish TEI company. The drone will be able to fly for up to 50 hours.
Bayraktar TB3 has six external suspension units (four in TB2). These could be adjustable MAM bombs, L-UMTAS, Cirit or Bozok anti-tank missiles. The ammunition load will also include several charges based on an 81-mm mine and a Kuzgun modular missile with a missile-powered destruction range of more than 200 km.
