Türkiye to recall its military aircraft from Kyiv

Two planes of the Turkish Air Force, which are located near Kyiv, will soon be able to return from Ukraine to the bases of permanent deployment.

Turkish National Defence Minister Hulusi Akar made the statement in an interview with reporters, Report informs.

"We are discussing this issue with both Russia and Ukraine. The planes will return at the first opportunity. I do not exclude that this may happen in the coming days," the minister added.

Two Turkish Air Force A-400M aircraft have been at Boryspil Airport near Kyiv since February 2022. During the negotiations, Akar and the Ukrainian and Russian authorities have repeatedly discussed their return to Türkiye.
