"The importance of maintaining the ‘grain agreement’, which enabled the safe export of over 10 million products, was emphasized. This is a significant contribution to eliminating the global food crisis. The agreement also proved its effectiveness in promoting dialogue and cooperation to resolve problems. The speed and convenience of maritime transportation of agricultural products were pointed out. The importance of clear separation of the issue of ‘grain agreement’ initiative and conditions of warfare was noted,” the ministry said in a statement.
It was stressed that Türkiye will continue to do its part in ensuring regional peace and providing humanitarian aid at all levels, as it has done so far.
