Hraparak: Aliyev to raise issue of Zangazur corridor point-blank in Moscow
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev intends to raise the issue of the Zangazur corridor point-blank during a possible trilateral meeting in Moscow.
“The preliminary agreements have been reached that another trilateral meeting among President Aliyev, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, and Russian President Vladimir Putin will be held in Moscow on August 31,” Caliber.Az reports referring to the Armenian Hraparak newspaper.
“According to the information received from Russian circles, President Aliyev intends to raise the issue of the Zangazur corridor point-blank at this meeting. The Azerbaijani president expects Pashinyan to clearly announce the timing of the opening of the highway connecting the western districts of Azerbaijan and Nakhchivan, its location, operation, and settlement of other related issues. Russia’s sources think that President Aliyev does not intend to believe Pashinyan's promises and will not allow him to play for time,” the newspaper reports.
