Azerbaijani brothers show Turkic nation’s justice, mercy to world - Erdogan

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has warmly congratulated the victorious Azerbaijani army for its historic victory and humane behavior towards civilians.

President Erdogan made these remarks in his press statement made in Nakhchivan with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, according to Azertac.

“Our Azerbaijani brothers have once again demonstrated to the whole world the justice and mercy of the Turkic nation. After the recent victory, new opportunities have appeared for comprehensive normalisation of the situation in the region. I think that this opportunity should be assessed. We expect Armenia to accept peace and take sincere steps. As I have always emphasised, if there is peace, there are no losers. The establishment of peace, stability and prosperity in our region is our duty to our people. We are determined to fulfill this duty, we are sincere. We wish the other side to show the same sincerity,” the Turkish president added.
