ANAMA conducts mine awareness training in Zangilan's Aghali village
Large-scale demining activities continue in Karabakh within the "Great Return" project.
The Azerbaijani Mine Action Agency (ANAMA) told APA that the first inhabitants after the intensive and successful demining activities will be resettled in the village of Aghali in the Zangilan region. One of the main priorities is to inform residents about the danger of mines and unexploded ordnance in the territories released from occupation for their safe and healthy living.
It was noted that for this purpose, from July 1, 2022, ANAMA began phased training on informing about the dangers of explosives in Zangilan:
"The goal is to acquaint citizens with safe algorithms of action when they will be conducting activities in the vicinity of the village of Aghali. At the training, citizens are informed about the signs of suspicious territories, rules of conduct in dangerous areas, and warning signs. They are urged to be disciplined, responsible and vigilant, not to enter the territory in which they are not sure of safety, and not to touch suspicious objects".
