Armenian National Security Service interrogates army general
The Armenian National Security Service has again summoned high-ranking officials of the Armed Forces for interrogation.
A major general of the national army, namely former Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces Movses Hakobyan, was interrogated by the National Security Service as part of the criminal case investigations, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Armenian media.
Colonel-General Movses Hakobyan is the uncle of the Secretary of the Armenian Security Council Armen Grigoryan.
The criminal case also included entrepreneur David Galstyan, who supplied weapons to the army, (“Patron Davo”) and has recently been released from prison.
His status as an accused in a criminal case against former Defence Minister David Tonoyan has been preserved up till now.
