Azerbaijan, CIS countries see notable decline in trade turnover

Trade turnover between Azerbaijan and the CIS countries has decreased in the first two months of this year, Report informs.

According to the State Customs Committee's report, the value of trade turnover between the two parties amounted to $909,791,000, which is 17.5 per cent less than the same period last year.

Azerbaijan and the CIS countries carried out export operations worth $223,483,000, which is 15.6 per cent less than last year, and import operations worth $686,308,000, which is 18 per cent less than last year.

During the reported period, the share of CIS countries in Azerbaijan's total exports was 4.7 per cent, whereas the share in total imports was 28.05 per cent.
