Azerbaijan completes restoration of five monuments in Shusha
Special Representative of the Azerbaijani president in the Shusha district Aydin Karimov has said that five historical monuments have been already restored in Azerbaijan’s Shusha city.
“Three significant monuments, namely, the Ashaghi Govhar Agha, Yukhari Govhar Agha and Saatli mosques, are being restored,” Karimov said at a meeting of heads of diplomatic missions of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Shusha, APA reports.
He noted that one of the main operations planned for this year is the construction of a school for 960 pupils in the city.
Karimov recalled that Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev laid the foundation for the Shusha central regional hospital, and added that its construction would begin soon.
The special representative also noted that the construction of a special TV tower will begin in Shusha to organise modern television and radio broadcasting throughout Karabakh.
