Azerbaijan is demonstrating tourism potential at the 30th International Travel and Hospitality Show (MITT) in Moscow, Russia.
Azerbaijan is represented by Azerbaijan Airlines company, Shahdag Tourism Centre, as well as representatives of local companies at the exhibition, which will last until March 21, according to Caliber.Az.
B2B meetings are held and opportunities for cooperation are considered during the exhibition.
Visitors are informed about Azerbaijan’s historical and cultural heritage, the tourism potential, winter tourism, ski centres, winemaking, ecotourism, etc.
Some 91,397 tourists from Russia visited Azerbaijan in January-February, which is by 21 per cent more than in the same period of last year. The flow of tourists from Russia increased by 39.9 per cent to 625,106 people in 2023 compared to 2022.
The International Travel and Hospitality Show (MITT) has been held annually in Moscow for the last 30 years.
