Azerbaijan, Jordan engage in trade, economic, technical collaboration
On November 28, Azerbaijani Prime Minister Ali Asadov met with Jordanian Minister of Industry, Trade, and Supply Yarub Qudah, co-chair of the intergovernmental commission on trade, economic, and technical cooperation between the two countries, to discuss strengthening bilateral cooperation and expanding trade ties.
The meeting emphasised the development of Azerbaijan-Jordan intergovernmental relations based on friendship and cooperation, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Cabinet of Ministers.
The close ties between Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Jordan’s King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein were highlighted as a key factor driving this progress.
Discussions focused on prospects for expanding mutually beneficial cooperation in various fields, including trade and economic development, investment, humanitarian initiatives, and other areas.
Finance Minister Sahil Babayev also participated in the meeting.
