Azerbaijan marks 104th anniversary of its security agencies

March 28 marks 104 years since the establishment of Azerbaijan's national security agencies.

This significant date is associated with the creation of the intelligence and counterintelligence service on March 28, 1919, to ensure the state security of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic.

For 26 years, under the decree signed by Azerbaijan's national leader Heydar Aliyev on March 23, 1997, this day is annually celebrated as the professional holiday of Azerbaijani national security employees, Report informs.
