Azerbaijan one of key energy partners of EU
Azerbaijan is one of key energy partners of the European Union (EU).
The remarks came from the Head of the EU Delegation to Azerbaijan, Peter Michalko, in a seminar at the ADA University in Baku on Thursday, Trend reports.
“Today, Azerbaijan and the EU is closer to each other more than ever,” Michalko said.
“Azerbaijan is one of the main energy partners of the EU. The priorities of our cooperation with Azerbaijan are also the transition to digital technologies, the development of rural areas, and people-to-people contacts,” he added.
Michalko noted that the new comprehensive agreement between Azerbaijan and the EU will further strengthen the current fruitful cooperation.
“We hope that the new legal framework will give us the opportunity for even deeper development,” he concluded.
