Azerbaijan, Romania discuss co-op in energy, transport-transit sectors

The opportunities for developing cooperation between Azerbaijan and Romania in the energy, transport and transit, industrial and other sectors are great.

This was discussed during a meeting between Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov and Chairman of the Chamber of Deputies of the Romanian Parliament Ion-Marcel Ciolacu, who is on a visit to Baku, Report informs.

At the meeting, the successful development of relations with Romania, the importance of mutual high-level visits, meetings and events were emphasized.

Chairman of the Chamber of Deputies of the Romanian Parliament Ion-Marcel Ciolacu noted that his country attaches great importance to cooperation with Azerbaijan, relations have become more intense recently, and shared his opinion on the prospects for the implementation of joint economic projects.

The parties discussed the strengthening of ties between the two countries, directions for the development of energy cooperation and economic relations.
