Azerbaijan, Romania discuss economic ties

Azerbaijan's Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov has met with Romanian Energy Minister Virgil-Daniel Popescu.

The main topic of the talks was the expansion of economic ties, partnerships in various fields, and activities of Azerbaijan's state-owned oil company SOCAR in Romania, the Azerbaijan's Ministry of Economy told Caliber.Az.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the strengthening of cooperation in various sectors of the economy, including the oil and gas sector, and other issues of mutual interest.
