Azerbaijan’s green energy vision: Karabakh, East Zangazur set to inspire world
Deputy Energy Minister Elnur Soltanov has emphasized the transformative potential of green energy projects underway in Karabakh and East Zangazur, suggesting they could serve as exemplary models for countries worldwide.
Speaking at a meeting of the Working Group on Energy Supply Issues, Soltanov highlighted the significance of these initiatives, which have garnered attention not only across the region but also on a national scale, Caliber.Az reports via local media.
According to the deputy minister, Azerbaijan’s efforts in these territories represent more than just restoration; they embody a forward-looking, sustainable vision. “Azerbaijan not only restores historical justice, but also applies modern future-oriented approaches,” Soltanov remarked, underscoring the dual nature of the projects as both a rectification of past grievances and a strategic investment in clean energy development.
The ongoing green energy transition in Karabakh and East Zangazur aims to integrate renewable energy solutions, contributing to regional energy security while aligning with global environmental commitments.
Azerbaijan’s green energy projects in Karabakh not only aim to provide sustainable power but also to reduce carbon emissions and set a regional example for environmental responsibility. With a strong focus on renewable energy, Karabakh is poised to play a crucial role in Azerbaijan's green future.
