Azerbaijan, Serbia forge environmental cooperation agreement PHOTO
Azerbaijan and Serbia have formalized their commitment to environmental protection with the signing of a new cooperation agreement.
The ceremony took place in Belgrade and was attended by Mukhtar Babayev, Azerbaijan's Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources and COP29 President-Designate, Caliber.Az reports per local media.
The agreement marks a significant step in enhancing bilateral collaboration between the two nations on environmental issues. It outlines plans to work together on various environmental initiatives, aiming to strengthen efforts in conservation and sustainable development.
As part of his visit to Belgrade, Mukhtar Babayev also met with Serbian officials, including President Aleksandar Vučić. The discussions focused on broadening cooperation in environmental protection and exploring further opportunities for joint action.
