Azerbaijan shares its experience in public services with Pakistan
Chair of Pakistan’s Capital Development Authority (CDA) Muhammad Ali Randhawa met with a delegation of architects and consultants from Azerbaijan to discuss bilateral cooperation on establishing “ASAN Service,” a unified public service centre planned for Islamabad.
The discussions focused on areas of mutual interest and potential technical collaboration for the implementation of the “ASAN Service” project, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Daily Islamabad Post.
Chair Randhawa stated that the initiative aligns with the vision of Pakistan’s Prime Minister and the Federal Interior Minister to enhance citizen services through modern, efficient, and technological solutions.
“ASAN service aims to bring all public services under one roof, ensuring convenience, transparency, and efficiency for Islamabad’s residents,” he said.
Randhawa confirmed that a suitable location for the centre has already been selected, adding that the project will also support the government’s policy of transitioning to a cashless economy.
He noted that advanced technologies will be used to ensure the centre meets modern standards.
The Azerbaijani delegation, representing the State Agency for Citizen Services and Social Innovations, assured full technical cooperation within the project, including assistance in designing and integrating IT service systems.
The delegation highly appreciated the CDA’s concept of simplifying citizens’ lives and expressed readiness to provide expertise and technical support for the project’s implementation.
Chair Randhawa emphasised that the project will not only mark a significant milestone in Pakistan–Azerbaijan relations but also represent a transformational step in improving the provision of public services in Islamabad.
