Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan discuss joint export to third countries

Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan have discussed the possibilities of increasing trade turnover, joint exports to third countries, as well as the export of Uzbek products by using Azerbaijan’s transit and transport capabilities and the participation of Azerbaijani companies in projects being implemented in Uzbekistan.

These issues were discussed during the meeting between Azerbaijani Deputy Minister of Economy Sahib Mammadov and Uzbek First Deputy Minister of Energy Azim Akhmedkhadzhaev on August 31, Report informs citing the Azerbaijani Ministry of Economy.

The importance of expanding economic ties between the countries was highlighted, information on the spheres for the development of ties was provided, and opportunities for strengthening cooperation were noted during the meeting.
