Azerbaijani Armed Forces replenished with new personnel Meeting of conscription commission

On July 14, a meeting of the Central Conscription Commission, established by a Cabinet of Ministers resolution to control the activities of district (city) conscription commissions, was held at the office of the State Service for Mobilization and Conscription for Military Service.

Mursal Ibrahimov, head of the State Service, chaired the meeting and discussed the implementation of the presidential order "On conscription of citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan to active military service for a fixed term and dismissal to the reserve from July 1 to July 30, 2023", Caliber.Az reports.

It was noted at the meeting that the State Service for Mobilization and Conscription continues to provide the Armed Forces with personnel of high quality.

The tasks set by Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev regarding the construction of the conscription process in accordance with the challenges of the new period, ensuring transparency and satisfaction of citizens were brought to the attention of the participants.

It was emphasized that complex measures are implemented to ensure objectivity and transparency in the process of distribution of conscripts to the places of service.

At the meeting, it was emphasized the expediency of establishing a working group of representatives of profile structures to improve the integration of information systems and adaptation of the legal framework to modern requirements.
