Azerbaijani defenсe minister expresses condolences to Turkish side on death of soldiers

Azerbaijani Defence Minister Colonel General Zakir Hasanov has expressed condolences to Turkish National Defence Minister Yashar Guler.

Caliber.Az reports that the message reads: "I am deeply saddened by the news that servicemen of the Turkish Armed Forces were killed and wounded as a result of a terrorist attack in the northern region of Iraq on December 22. Your pain is also our pain. We strongly condemn all manifestations of terror. Azerbaijan always supports brotherly Türkiye in the fight against terrorism.

I express my deep condolences to the families of the dead servicemen and wish healing to the wounded. May God rest their souls!"
