Azerbaijani deputy defense minister visits Iran

Azerbaijani Deputy Defence Minister - Commander of the Separate Combined Arms Army Col-Gen Karam Mustafayev has officially visited Iran.

Within the visit framework, Karam Mustafayev met with First Deputy Chief of General Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces Maj-Gen Aziz Nasirzadeh, and other military leaders.

At the meetings, the current state and prospects of the development of military cooperation between Azerbaijan and Iran were discussed, and a detailed exchange of views on regional security issues was held.
