Azerbaijani foreign minister, Uzbek deputy foreign minister discuss prospects of bilateral ties
Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov received Uzbekistan's Deputy Foreign Minister Babur Usmanov on June 14.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs told Caliber.Az that during the meeting the sides discussed prospects for the development of bilateral relations.
Bayramov stressed with satisfaction that Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan closely cooperate not only on a bilateral basis but also within international platforms.
He underscored close ties within the UN, Organization of Turkic States, CIS, OSCE, Non-Aligned Movement and dynamically developing cooperation in trade, industry, cooperation, tourism and other spheres.
The minister thanked his interlocutor for Uzbekistan's support for rebuilding the liberated territories of Azerbaijan and, in particular, for building a school in Fuzuli.
Expressing gratitude for the reception, Babur Usmanov underlined Uzbekistan's intention to further develop relations with friendly and fraternal Azerbaijan and spoke of new opportunities in this direction.
