Azerbaijani MPs, French Senate member discuss France’s biased resolutions
Head of the Azerbaijani parliament’s working group on Azerbaijan-France inter-parliamentary relations Soltan Mammadov has met with French Senate member Nathalie Goulet, who is on a visit to Azerbaijan.
During the meeting, Mammadov spoke about the relations between Azerbaijan and France, biased resolutions adopted by the Senate and the National Assembly of France against Azerbaijan, and factors hindering peace talks between Armenia and Azerbaijan, the Press and PR department of the Azerbaijani parliament told APA.
The new reality that emerged in the region after Azerbaijan liberated its lands from Armenian occupation in 2020, the implementation of the trilateral statement signed by the leaders of Azerbaijan, Russia and Armenia in November 2020, the course of peace negotiations between Azerbaijan and Armenia, the rally of Azerbaijani environmental activists on the Lachin-Khankendi road, the significance of the meeting with the Armenians living in the Karabakh economic region and other issues were considered during the conversation.
Member of the Azerbaijani parliament’s working group on Azerbaijan-France inter-parliamentary relations Javanshir Feyziyev, Tural Ganjaliyev, Nigar Arpadarai, French ambassador to Azerbaijan Anne Boillon and other officials attended the meeting.
