A delegation of Azerbaijani servicemen attended the 1st International Forum for Non-Commissioned Officers (NCOs), held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The forum brought together military personnel from a diverse range of countries, including Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Egypt, France, Germany, Greece, Iraq, Italy, Japan, Jordan, Kuwait, Morocco, Nigeria, Oman, Pakistan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Sweden, Tunisia, Türkiye, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom, and the United States, Caliber.Az reports.
The primary goal of the forum was to enhance the leadership abilities of NCOs and improve their management skills.
The 1st International Forum for Non-Commissioned Officers (NCOs) is designed to empower NCOs, enhance their understanding of their roles, and cultivate a generation of exceptional leaders who align with the strategic objectives and vision of the Ministry of Defence. The forum also provides an opportunity to exchange leadership experiences with military agencies both within and outside the Kingdom, serving as a model for the Ministry’s continued growth.
The event is organized by the Ministry of Defence’s NCOs under the direct leadership of Lieutenant General Fayyadh bin Hamed Al-Ruwaili, Chief of the General Staff. In line with Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030, the forum will feature dialogue sessions that address key topics, including the role of leaders in developing leadership skills, the challenges and opportunities of empowering women in the Ministry of Defence, the components of creative leadership and its impact on institutional performance, and strategies for cultivating outstanding leaders.
The forum will bring together NCOs from allied and friendly countries, the Ministry of Defence, and various military sectors. Participants will gain insights into mission leadership, joint operational excellence, and the role of NCOs in achieving distinction. Additionally, there will be an awareness display showcasing the Ministry of Defence’s development programs, leadership responsibilities for NCOs, and innovative models from other military branches.
