Azerbaijani top diplomat commends outgoing Polish envoy for bolstering bilateral ties
Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov received the outgoing Polish Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Rafal Poborski, on July 25.
During their discussion, both sides highlighted that ongoing contacts and summit meetings have significantly contributed to the development of Azerbaijani-Polish cooperation based on friendship, respect, and strategic partnership, Caliber.Az reports via the Foreign Ministry.
They identified wide prospects for enhancing bilateral relations in political, economic, energy, humanitarian, educational, and other spheres. The importance of political consultations and parliamentary diplomacy mechanisms was also emphasized.
The upcoming 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29) in Azerbaijan was noted as a crucial event for advancing both bilateral and multilateral cooperation.
Minister Bayramov expressed high regard for Ambassador Poborski's efforts in fostering Azerbaijani-Polish ties and wished him success in his future diplomatic endeavors.
