Azerсosmos to assist in finding mineral deposits in liberated lands

Azerbaijani satellite operator Azercosmos and the Institute of Geology and Geophysics have signed a Memorandum of Understanding.

According to the memorandum signed on December 29, the main direction of joint activities will be conducting research to detect mineral deposits in the liberated lands with the use of satellite data and assessment of seismic risk in the country, APA reports.

The memorandum also envisages joint commercial activities of the space-oriented structures.
