AzInTelecom showcases innovations at ICT Week in Uzbekistan PHOTO

AzInTelecom, a telecommunications company operating under Azerbaijan's Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, showcased its innovations at ICT Week in Uzbekistan, an event that drew representatives from around 20 countries.

On the first day of the event, Uzbekistan's Minister of Digital Technologies, Sherzod Shermatov, visited the AzInTelecom stand, where he was introduced to the company’s key digital product, SİMA İmza, Caliber.Az reports per local media.

The biometric features of the product piqued his interest.

On the third day, the AzInTelecom delegation visited the Scientific Information Centre focused on electronic signatures in Uzbekistan. During discussions with the centre’s leadership, AzInTelecom representatives highlighted how SİMA İmza (digital solutions platform) could advance the use of electronic signatures in the country.

The centre's director, Sharifjon Kayumov, praised SİMA's capabilities and expressed a willingness to visit Baku for further discussions.

ICT Week Uzbekistan serves as a global platform for IT companies from Central Asia and neighbouring regions, facilitating knowledge exchange and showcasing innovative solutions that drive digital transformation in the region.
