"Birlestik-2024" drills: Servicemen conduct tactical orienteering, shooting competitions PHOTO

The international operational-tactical command and staff exercises "Birlestik-2024" (United), involving military contingents from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, are continuing in Aktau, Kazakhstan.

As part of the drills, "Baghdar" (Orienteering) tactical orienteering, shooting and a number of sports competitions and other events for the effective organization of military personnel's cultural and leisure time were organised, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Azerbaijani Defence Ministry.

The military personnel from the five countries tested their abilities in the competitions.

Following the results of the competition, the winners were awarded cups, medals, honorary certificates and gifts.

In the end, a concert programme was organised for the exercise participants.
