“Ibraev emphasized Azerbaijan's extensive experience in oil field development and production and proposed cooperation in several areas: signing a long-term contract for the supply and processing of crude oil to Kyrgyzstan, and participation in hydropower and renewable energy projects,” the Kyrgyz Energy Ministry reported.
Ibraev also suggested considering favourable financing through the Azerbaijan-Kyrgyz Development Fund, including a $2 million grant for the purchase and installation of electric car chargers.
Shahbazov expressed readiness to cooperate with Kyrgyzstan.
"He offered to work with a special working group on oil delivery. The minister also reminded Ibraev that an investment forum on renewable energy sources will be held soon and extended an invitation for Kyrgyzstan to actively participate," the ministry said.
