Carpet weaving centre opens in Lachin

Islimi Carpet Weaving Centre has been opened in Lachin.

Lachin has been famous for its carpets since ancient times, so it was decided to open a carpet weaving centre here, Report informs.

The centre will also provide employment for the district residents.

Special representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Lachin district Masim Mammadov, employees of Baku Improvement Service LLC, Lachin Improvement Service OJSC and other structures took part in the opening ceremony.

The participants of the ceremony got acquainted with the conditions created in the Centre.

Lachin also saw an opening ceremony of Gilabi Ceramics Creative Centre, Lachin Improvement Service reported.
