China evacuates over 3,000 citizens from Iran
China’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that more than 3,000 Chinese nationals have been evacuated from Iran.
The government also urged its citizens to leave the country as soon as possible, Caliber.Az reports via Iranian media.
Authorities confirmed that one Chinese national was killed in Tehran.
China’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has publicly condemned the recent US and Israeli‑led strikes on Iran, calling for an immediate ceasefire and return to diplomacy to prevent the Middle East conflict from expanding.
The evacuation of foreign nationals, including Chinese citizens, has taken place through land routes such as Azerbaijan, Armenia, Türkiye and Iraq, with embassies advising people to exit via these crossings because air travel and normal transport have been disrupted by regional hostilities.
