Construction activities underway in three villages of Azerbaijan's Aghdam district PHOTO
Construction work has been launched in Kangarli, Sarijali and Khidirli villages of Azerbaijan's Aghdam district, which were liberated from occupation.
Some 719 private houses will be built in Khidirli village at the first stage to bring 2,951 residents back to the village, Report informs.
Construction work in the villages will feature four stages.
In general, 1,500 families comprising 5,990 people are scheduled to be relocated to Khidirli village, located 3 kilometers from the center of the city of Aghdam.
One town and 12 villages in Aghdam district are planned to be restored at the initial stage. The first stage of construction works in Sarijali, Khidirli and Kangarli villages is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2024.
On October 4, 2023, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev laid the foundation stone for Kangarli, Sarijali and Khidirli villages of Aghdam district.
