Touching upon the simplified financial rules for investors, Alasgarov noted that the main goal of the Alat Free Economic Zone is to create and develop export-oriented manufacturing enterprises.
The ONL Chairman expressed interest in the Alat Free Economic Zone.
The parties exchanged views on the use of the Zone's potential by entrepreneurs of the Netherlands.
A conference with businessmen from the Netherlands followed the meeting on the same day.
It should be noted that under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev, very important projects are being implemented in Azerbaijan to ensure the development of the non-oil sector, diversify various sectors of the economy, increase the export potential of our country, attract foreign investment, and further improve the business climate.
Clear evidence of this is the Alat Free Economic Zone. The implementation of this project will not only attract large economic dividends to Azerbaijan but also further strengthen the position of our country in the region, and increase the strategic importance of our republic, which plays an important role in the East-West and North-South transport and transit corridors. The creation of this economic zone will create conditions for increasing state revenues and funds coming to the budget, as well as attracting new investments.
