Envoy: Azerbaijan, Japan to identify priority areas for future cooperation

Azerbaijan and Japan are aiming to identify priority areas of cooperation in the next few years.

Japanese Ambassador to Azerbaijan Junichi Wada said this at an event marking the birthday of the Emperor of Japan, Report informs.

"Azerbaijan and Japan have established friendly ties. Last year the countries celebrated 30 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations. Now, we can discuss what areas we will develop over the next 30 years and more," he noted.

The Ambassador also described as gratifying the celebration of the 63rd birthday of the Emperor of Japan in Baku.
