F1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix: location, race start time and more
Formula One heads to Baku this weekend for the Azerbaijan Grand Prix.
The street-circuit race will be of a very different kind to what fans witnessed a fortnight ago, with wide-open boulevards and long straights on the coast of the Caspian Sea a world away from Monaco, according to Evening Standard.
Sergio Perez claimed victory last time out as Ferrari suffered another malfunction in their bid to deliver Charles Leclerc his maiden world title.
Max Verstappen could only muster third place as he nudged to nine points clear of Leclerc in the early championship standings, although Perez is not hot on their heels.
While Leclerc continues to endure a curse at his home race of Monaco, Verstappen has struggled to find fortune in Baku and has never finished on the podium at the track.
Quiet a fortnight ago, Mercedes will also look to improve their luck in Azerbaijan. Lewis Hamilton enters the weekend sixth in the championship and George Russell, still maintaining his top-five finish streak, sits fourth.
