First stage of resettlement: 3,146 residents to return to Minjivan settlement
In the initial phase of resettlement, 3,146 people will be relocated to the Minjivan settlement in Zangilan district.
According to Ilhamiya Rzayeva, head of the Public Relations Department of the Restoration, Construction, and Management Service in Jabrayil, Gubadli, and Zangilan districts, the Minjivan settlement spans an area of 301.51 hectares, Report informs.
The "1st State Program on Great Return" plans to utilize 153.4 hectares of this area for the first stage of resettlement. During this phase, 628 private houses and four multi-story residential buildings with 92 apartments will be constructed to accommodate the returning residents.
This resettlement initiative follows the groundbreaking ceremony for the Minjivan settlement by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev on May 18, marking a significant step in the rehabilitation and reconstruction efforts in the Zangilan district.
