German traveler: Visit to liberated Azerbaijani lands - unique chance
German traveler Fabian Weidemann has said that visiting the liberated Azerbaijani territories is a unique chance because it was impossible to visit them for a long time.
“It is very interesting to visit these territories and see how these places are changing,” Weidemann told Report.
The German traveler shared impressions of visiting the Azykh cave.
“It was very dark there however, it was interesting to know that the remains of primitive people, one of the oldest human remains in the world, were found in this cave,” Weidemann said.
“This is my first visit to Azerbaijan and to the South Caucasus region in general. I have spent two days here. I didn't have any expectations but I am very impressed with Baku’s beauty. It is a very beautiful and modern city,” he added.
A trip to Karabakh and East Zangazur has begun for an international group of travelers representing 12 countries, created in the UK.
The 30-member group includes representatives from the US, UK, Ireland, Belgium, Germany, France, Denmark, the Netherlands, Italy, Spain, Brazil and Russia.
Travelers will visit the liberated Azerbaijani territories on February 4-6 along the Fuzuli-Khojavand-Shusha-Kalbajar-Lachin-Zangilan-Jabrayil-Aghdam route.
