Iran blames Europe for sabotaging nuclear deal talks
The Iranian Foreign Ministry has accused Europe of trying to disrupt the nuclear deal talks.
Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Nasser Kanani recently made the remarks to comment on the EU (France, Germany and the United Kingdom) statement that Tehran's position jeopardizes the restoration of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), TASS reports.
"It is sad that with this ill-considered statement three European countries (Britain, Germany and France — ed.) have taken a step towards [politics of] Israel, which aims at the failure of negotiations," the diplomat said.
Tehran's reaction followed the statement of the European troika countries, in which they expressed "serious doubts about Iran's intentions and commitment to the successful completion of the JCPOA".
According to them, the additional changes made by the JCPOA coordinator to the final version of the text of the deal "brought them to the limit of flexibility".
"Unfortunately, Iran chose not to take advantage of this crucial diplomatic opportunity," the leaders of the Eurotroika added.
