Kremlin denies alleged transfer of capital deep into Russia
Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov has said that reports about plans to move the capital from Moscow to deep into the country are inaccurate.
Earlier, Ukraine's National Security and Defence Council Secretary Oleksiy Danilov said that the Kremlin is talking about moving the capital deep into Russia, Kommersant writes.
On March 14, Danilov said on the air of the Ukrainian unified telethon that the Russian authorities are discussing the transfer of the capital to Siberia.
"They are already talking about moving the capital deep into Russia, and many other processes are already underway," he said.
Earlier, businessman Oleg Deripaska took the initiative to move the capital to Siberia. In his opinion, in the conditions of sanctions, the main flow of goods, investments and settlements to Russia will come from Asia.
