Mine Mark delegation to visit Azerbaijan’s Aghdam
A delegation of the Mine Mark non-governmental organisation operating in The Hague (Netherlands) will visit Azerbaijan’s Aghdam District liberated from the Armenian occupation.
During the visit co-organised by the Azerbaijani State Committee on Work with Diaspora and the State Committee for Affairs of Refugees and Internally Displaced People, the delegation will view the scale of destruction in Aghdam committed by Armenians during the almost 30 year-occupation, and will also conduct training on mine safety with students of school-lyceum N14, Oxu.Az reports referring to the Azerbaijani State Committee on Work with Diaspora.
Mine Mark NGO was registered in the Kingdom of the Netherlands in 2018. Its founders are Lala Mustafazade and Nils Hegel. The organisation, created to educate children about mine safety, develops teaching aids, namely, books, video instructions, educational cartoons and games, based on the instructions of the United Nations Mine Action Service. Mine Mark has created a mine safety virtual game application.
