Minister: Azerbaijan, Türkiye to shoot film about Karabakh war
Azerbaijani Culture Minister Anar Karimov has said that the government is taking systematic measures to restore the cultural heritage on the territories liberated from Armenia's 30-year occupation.
He made the statement while speaking at an international conference dedicated to the first anniversary of the signing of the Shusha Declaration held in Shusha on June 15, according to Report.
Fraternal Türkiye also supports this process, the report added.
He said that the choice of the city of Shusha in 2023 as the cultural capital of the Turkic world also reflects the importance that the Turkic peoples place on this ancient city.
The minister stated that the shooting of a serial film about the Patriotic War has started. He noted that Azerbaijan and Türkiye have begun active cooperation in filmmaking.
Karimov said that the filming is expected to wrap by late 2022.
