Minister reveals Azerbaijan's gas exports to Europe reached 4 billion cubic metres
Energy Minister Perviz Shahbazov announced on the social media platform X that Azerbaijan exported 4.2 billion cubic metres of gas to Europe from January to April this year, per Caliber.Az.
In January-April 2024, 4.2 bcm of gas was exported to #Europe, 3.2 bcm to #Türkiye, and 1.1 bcm to #Georgia. During this period, TANAP supplied Türkiye with 1.8 bcm of gas. During the same period, Azerbaijan also exported 3.2 billion cubic metres of gas to Türkiye, including 1.8 billion cubic metres via the Trans-Anatolian Natural Gas Pipeline (TANAP), and 1.1 billion cubic metres to Georgia.
Overall gas exports rose by about 2.7% compared to the same period last year.
Additionally, Shahbazov noted that Azerbaijan produced 9.6 million tonnes of oil condensate, with exports reaching 7.9 million tonnes in the first four months of this year.
