Official Paris affirms readiness to contribute to settlement of Baku-Yerevan relations

French Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Stéphane Séjourné has affirmed his country’s readiness to contribute to the settlement of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan as he met with his Armenian counterpart Ararat Mirzoyan, who is on a visit to France.

He noted that Paris supports the mediation efforts of the European Union and the United States in the sphere of regulation of relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia, Report informs.

Séjourné emphasized that a just and lasting peace is possible only on the basis of respect for international law, sovereignty, territorial integrity and inviolability of the borders of the two states.
